A couple of weeks ago promoter Don King returned to Las Vegas to promote a fight and as a jounalist working with him and his team turned out to be first class.

Promoter Bob Arum lives in Las Vegas and has teated me well thru the years, however his big events are not available to this writer thusly I cannot cover them !

Friday night Arum had a lesser event at Mandaly Bay's House of Blues...Arum and Top Rank allowed coverage here and it was first class ! I have had negative vibes about the House of Blues Arena from past negative experiences.....NOT THIS NIGHT !
Either changes have been made or my memory corrected....this was all first class with great Blue Horizon-Palms overlap balcony seating with great sight lines looking down into the ring....staff and team (too many) overly helpful and professional with the senseless loud rap music. I had a great time and recommend the venue to all for future boxing events. Nice 10 round 118 pound fight with one boxer winning every second and them almost getting knocked out in the last 25 seconds...thats what it is all about.
