THE KINGSTON TRIO

by ed bruce edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

Three sold out shows at the perfect South Point casino showroom in Las Vegas !

Doesn't get any better than this....three guitars and a banjo, lyrics, harmony, background, production.....just making 82 minutes of heaven !

So great to see this historic music sell out for us social security types who remember it. Thanks to the South Point show team for produciing such a great lineup of talent....this group rescheduled for November 2010....hope I am alive to enjoy it again.

I have seen lots of Kingston Trio parts thru the years and tonights lineup may have been the best ever...the group still on national tours and with founder Bob Shane living in Phoenix and able to come up for these Las Vegas shows and sing Scotch and Soda...it puts a special touch to the show.

A little tighter production with this version tonight and with a lineup of California,
The Reuben James,The MTA, Where Have All the FLowers Gone...you run a strong song book with everyone in perfect voice and harmony. Gee there is music with lyrics that you can understand still around.

Started right on time to the second and finished a perfect doubleheader day for me with the UFL championship football game.

RECOMMENDED TO THE WORLD

101 A+
