UNLV SYMPHONY

BY ED BRUCE edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

UNLV HAS A SYMPHONY ! ! ! AND A DAMN GOOD ONE ! ! !

I don't know if I can tell the difference between this one and the Las Vegas Philharmonic, 67 students playing Mozart, Ives and Tchiakovsky Tuesday night at Ham Hall on campus, how does it get better than this ?

RESPECT THE MUSIC, I always do !

Starts on time, they ran out of programs, good crowd !

What a job to prepare this group for such a great 80 minutes !

Mozart...how do you beat this !

Ives...different...balcony horns, multi conductors, respect the music !

Tchiakovsky...still the second greatest composer of all time and his 4th Symphony in
four movements one of the reasons why the third movement in pizzicato made my day !

100 A+
