Pochiro Boxing & Promotions is proud to announce our “Throw Down at Sam’s Town Round II“.
Pochiro Promotions has teamed up with Sam’s Town for a second action packed filled show. Featured fight of the night is Rashad Ganaway vs Victor Castro for the WBC-USNBC lightweight title. Ganaway coming from Little Rock, Arkansas has had a great amateur career & two of his loses as a pro have been in title fights. Ganaway provides exciting boxing skills & great movement. Victor Castro hailing out of Phoenix, Arizona will try to disrupt the rhythm & movement of Ganaway with his power & his relentless non stop power punches.
Our co-main event features Jesse “Chuy” Gutierrez vs Moris Rodriguez. Gutierrez puts his undefeated (11-0) record on the line verses a very dangerous Rodriguez. Rodriguez is looking to upset Gutierrez in his hometown. Many boxing experts feel Rodriquez can pull the upset. However Gutierrez has other plans.
Leon Spinks III vs Wilberth Lopez. Spinks looks to stay undefeated & looking for national rankings in the near feature. This will be a good test for Spinks as Lopez has already taken down two undefeated fighters. Look for Spinks to move, box & show boat. As Lopez looks to disrupt Spinks rhythm. Rumor has it that Spinks grandfather, Leon Spinks who lives in Las Vegas will be an attendance.
Also featured on the card will be Wes Capper from Perth, Australia (3-0) vs Rashawn McCain (2-0) from Tucson, Arizona. Local fighters Sergio Lopez & Yosigey Ramirez will also be featured on the card.
Come join us at Sam’s Town for a meet & greet of all fighters on our press day 6pm April 2, 2014. The weigh ins of fighters will be held the following day Thursday April 3rd at 5pm inside Sam’s Town. Finally come see the fights at 7pm inside Sam’s Town Live followed by the after party which will take place at Sam’s Town Sports Book. All fights will be aired on all big screens 45 minutes after the fights conclude.
