BARBARA WILLINGHAM'S SONGS OF BROADWAY

AND LOTS OF EM!

Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services, a division of the arts and community events office gives us these shows, cheap ! This one at the Charleston Heights facility, an old library where my wife once worked. Nice big production with 3 guys and host Barbara Willingham, canned music, great singers and some dance. Another senior citizens crowd, full house, we love this stuff.

Here is what it says on her website, "With their high-spirited celebration of music, dance, drama & just plain fun, The "Songs of Broadway" Co. has captivated audiences everywhere from Maine to Texas for more than 30 years. " Exactly right !

Obviously Willingham has some production history with this, she is a babe with at least 11 dresses that I know of,.... great trick to have a gown for each song. This was a 99 minute show with no intermission, about 4 minutes late and better than average sound. Almost too loud, I hate the background music drownding out vocals. Nice program and tons of very familiar music, ....all the great music already written (pre 1970), this was more of it. Loved it.

95 A thanks.
