HARP

How many of you have ever been to a harp Concert ? 3 for me now !

I continue to praise the Starbright theatre and its staff in Summerlin !

3 harps, 1 background soft drummer and two male voacls...mostly Christmas carols. Lovely !

After Johnny Mathis everything I hear the rest of my life will be secondary if it not already was second to Johnny. I was not expecting vocals and with my personal love for the harp they were a distraction....but not bad in any way...both dudes could sing and did. Lovely 73 minute set that started 8 minutes late altho damn near everything does...all 40ish of us in the audience, unlike the performers were on time !

The lead harp player accompanied by her student (sort of), daughter (Julliard graduate....boy does that carry weight)....and her son on drums. Maybe there is hope for the world if one woman can play the harp and produce two offspring (one a Julliard graduate) that produce lovely music for me. No crap in this set ....all fine old Christmas themes. I really love the harp and maybe three are better than two or one. Somehow I received vibes that these were not hall of fame players....however they did a spendid job of entertaining me. This venue and what goes on here is a key place for your varied entertainment tastes !

92 A- MERRY CHRISTMAS
