THE NUTCRACKER

Done this before...and will again !

Nevada Ballet Theatre's annual production, 17 shows...same unbelievable Tchaikovsky music, still the second greatest composer ever and this among the reasons why.

Opening night not with the usual zip, dancing less than spectacular...always a test for this major production....beautiful signature costumes, great production and adding CCSN dance director Kelly Roth as grandfater....he stole the show.

Nine minutes late...21 minute intermission, thats another 30 minutes out of the heart of my life......believe this production will improve as it goes on....the night set off by the appearance of one of my heroes and the worlds happiest mayor Oscar Goodman and his wife in the sleigh.

Just the feel of this a tad disappointing...B 86
