My life just keeps getting better...so much to see and do here nonstop in Las Vegas and nearby !

Nearby..... Laughlin....Rock and Sock em promotions boxing at the New Aquarius Casino (formerly the Flamingo Laughlin). We drive to Laughlin 96 miles..... great ride....play some poker and cover the fights.....first card for this new venue....nice club card 4 bouts none great, none horrible, usual awful loud rap music and long intermissions....149 minutes for 54 minutes of actual boxing, saw some old friends met some new ones, anxious to go back. 78 C+

Double header Sunday ...Impressionistic Visions ....Henderson Symphony Orchestra....started on time and they picked four pieces of music I really liked....it was Free. They do this in an old high school auditorium....but sound is great and it was highlited with Las Vegas Symphony concertmaster De Ann Letourneau doing a great great Ravel piece Tzigane.....the whole damn thing was just first class in spite of the fact that they allow patrons to enter with baby carriages ! More of this coming ....what a joy ....conductor Taras Krysa scheduled to play Tchaikovsky's violin concerto Feb 19 at UNLV where he is a professor of music. What a plus they have added to my life 98 A+

Sunday night at the Orleans theatre....the Smothers Brothers.....mom still likes Dickie best. Been a fan for 40 years same sthick still playing great for over 40 years....Tom 71 this week and Dick 68 and they continue to bring lots of joy to lots of people....full house Sunday night ...thanks boys 98 A+
