VALENTINE'S DAY WEEKEND

Dinner with my loved one, exchange cards then Saint Petersburg Ballet Theatre alone. Met some new friends,... friends good.... ballet just ok. They did Giselle, started late, 21 minute intermission, a couple with a baby sat in front of me (late)...I can't win. Dancing world class, staging and costumes world class, it was not free, it did not grab me ....93 A-

Friday .....third Friday Downtown Cultural Series 2008...Chautauqua presentation...Dr. Doug A. Mishler (who has done over a 1000).... "Theodore Roosevelt"...it did grab me....learned a lot...free lunch, 8 minutes late, bad audio in this canyon....great show...94 A

Friday...Las Vegas Wranglers hockey...Victoria 3 Las Vegas 2......home team scores 2 in the first 4 minutes and goes to sleep...Victoria changes goalies....he pulls off a shoutout...my neighbor Nathan Tannenbaum plays Oh Canada and U S National Anthems on the flute..... 97 A+ not a great game....great entertainment

Friday...Las Vegas Wranglers hockey...Victoria 3 Las Vegas 5......visiting team scores 3 early Las Vegas changes goalies...he pulls off a shuout....my neighbor Nathan Tannenbaum plays Oh Canada and U S National Anthem on the flute....home teams gets an open netter with ten seconds left and everyone gets a free taco... 97 A+ great game....great entertainment...both hockey games start on time.
