Music with the classic touch...last show of the season at the perfect East Las Vegas Library Theatre...almost started on time ! !
Conductor, musical director Rodolfo Fernandez the father of this group is only a genuis....organizing, arranging, conducting and leading 16 strings Sunday to some great choices of short classical pieces.....Eine Kleine Nachtmusik....Mozart.... for the kickoff and then Jenkins, Schuman, Hayden, Greig, Liszt and other composers to my personal taste !
This program included guests artists on the piano, 2 lovely 8 year olds, Rachel Zhang and Victoria Young and their teacher Damaaris Morales Alvarez....the girls could not reach the foot pedals but probably did not need them anyway...they were beautiful in white dresses and niave smiles...the playing was also fine.
A 94....a few runaway kids and omission of intermisssion could have made this 100
