THREE DAYS OF RAIN

by Ed Bruce edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

A play at the Las Vegas Little Theatre.....the play by Richard Greenberg first ran in 1997 in New York....sorry..... this the second one in a row that I just didn't get. I like stories and dialogue, evidentally there was a story but I didn't get it.....I like to know the good guys and bad guys and have the hero kiss the pretty girl in the end, he kissed here but I don't know if he was the good guy or not. The point being it is the responsibility of the entire team....author, actors and production to get the story to me (maybe not), maybe just to entertain either way I left unfullfilled and unentertained.

Three young actors gave great perfomances spewing dialogue endlessly in a herculian effort evidentally to follow the directors whims. I feel bad for not being entertained..... but I wasn't.

I want the LVLT to succeed.....they try hard and will have 5 comedies next year in their 31st season in their two theatres in Chinatown Las Vegas.... ww.lvlt.org 362 7996.

Rita Rudners Room # 776 will debut here June 13-29 for 11 performances.....how can this not be great.

I am at a blank to grade Three Days of Rain.....they started on time, built a great set with talented actors and gave a sincere effort ...............C 74
