TOO LATE..TOO LOUD...TOO DARK

by Ed Bruce edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

I got the hat trick yesterday at the Sahara from two free (alleged shows).

WOHSCIGAM, magic show spelled backwards....an afternoon mystery to the audience....40 of us who won free tickets online were mystified as to what it was....at least I was. A hard working Brett Daniels did too many cards tricks and one nice levitation segement on big scale set and tried to tie it into a storyline of anagrams, names and backward spelling. I felt sorry for him in that some expense and talent were not utilized in some cognizant order of comprehendability. Of course I had to wait 13 minutes in the dark listening to rap music for the show to start....this is still unacceptable even for a free show....I was pissed before they dropped the puck....almost failing...65 D.

TRENT CARLINI, more of the same, same night...same stage (they should have left the magicians set up) , same too late, too loud, too dark. This guys tries to be Elvis.....its shameful. 9 minutes late in the dark, with too loud badly done decent pre game music ! A month ago a young Elvis at the Orleans was terrific....not including the big 3 negatives in his show. The thing about an impersonator, if thats what you are, is be true to the real deal (all the Beattles groups do this)....not this deal. Carlini after insulting us by being late, just yelled the music or tried to yell it over NOISE behind him...a total failure, I walked out of a free show. 59 F
