What's this ? Evidentally a new tribute group doing the Beach Boys....thats Brian, Carl, Dennis, Al and Mike....music written pretty much in the sixties by Hall of Famer Brian Wilson and Mike Love ! This group is new to me but maybe somewhat aged....their act and sound is terrific....true to the sound and chords, great lyrics and no bullshit. 85 minutes, 10 minutes late, two short video bridges for costume changes, two energetic dancers who may not have added anything but did not hurt the plan. The show at the lovely Starbright Theatre in Summerlin Las Vegas. Great theatre and one terrific show....if you are doing the group be true to the sound and this group was right on top....not too loud.....not too dark.....just too late. Sold out one nighter...they are back in Las Vegas....... check their web.
My top five composers of all time McCartney, Tchiakovsky, Sedaka, Mozart and Vivaldi.
Brian Wilson pretty close to the top himself....I was working on the unset next five and I have Beethoven, Manilow, Pagnini and Brian Wilson could be there !
