Playoff hockey into May and maybe June...just great and still the top entertainment event in Las Vegas on a continuing basis.
The Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL have announced a three year extension thru 2011......36 more home games a year and hopefully more in the playoff future. All games at the continuing spectacular Orleans Arena !
At the moment the Wranglers are in the third round of the Kelly Cup playoffs (the final four) against Utah. Last night the Wranglers beat Utah 5-2 in the first game of the best of 7 series !
Cincinnati leads South Carolina 2 games to none in the Eastern finals....the Wranglers lead Utah one game to none in their best of seven series in their quest for the Kelly Cup finals. Cincinnati would have the home ice edge in a Las Vegas-Cincinnati final. Wranglers and Utah in game two tonight,......... at most 7 more home games, at least one.....probably four.....the season is nearly over!
Competition keen as always with Utah 1-11 against Las Vegas on the season still competitive well into the third period last night. Negatives and there are some.....this ongoing awful loud loud loud loud loud rap music at all stops in play (I guess we just have to tough it out) and an awful nearly nonexistent replay video on the areana screens.
Still an A+ 100 entertainment rating.
