NO BOXING

After a seven year hiatus the Las Vegas Hilton and promoter Sterling McPherson were supposed to produce a boxing card.....they failed completely.

Big promotion, articles by the great Ron Kantowski of the local paper, by this reporter and others....we were all duped.

Kickoff.... 630 at 715 no fighters had appeared....I left....this I hear was true also at 728 no fighters. Late is the worst..... like never ! Rumor has it there were two first round knockouts, a four round split decision and AN INTERMISSION (THIS SHOULD HAVE GONE OVER WELL). Rumor has the old technical difficulites excuse and the tardiness of McPherson to provide the checks on time...rumor has it there was a ten round main event.....I don't know !
