I am just happy to be on the same planet as a man like Roy Clark !

Just brings tears to my eyes !

Clark now 75, married for 51 years to the same woman, has a 7 piece group doing a three nighter at the South Pointe in south Las Vegas,.....thanks to them and to Roy for making me feel good !

I don't think Clark needs this after fifty years in show business, 23 years of Hee Haw and non stop world tours. Roy limping a bit after hip replacement is in the process of losing his voice.....still one of the worlds greatest guitarists and still the preminent stage performer with a twinkle in his eye and smile on his lips.....this the penultimate example of warm sincere stage presence having fun with all the group and acting like they were enjoying the evening.....the sell crowd (me in particular) were.

Roy Clark .....thank you....it's like YESTERDAY WHEN I WAS YOUNG ! ! !

Can't ever forget when Clark sang this at Mickey Mantles funeral....it was Mickey and Roy and me and our lives.......Kingston Trio here next....more good stuff coming !

Started early...not too loud...not too dark....good music, great instrumentals...nice sound...great lyrics. Fronting the group now, Justin Davis......vocals, violin, guitar....talent....fourth of 17,000 in 2006 country music young talent contest....a great talent.
