HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES

BY ED BRUCE edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

Las Vegas Little Theatre's presentation of another weird play.....thank you.

Got to love the creativity and originiality of the theme here....very very different. The play by John Guare (1938-) MFA Yale School of Drama.....Six Degrees of Separation....some history here ...he won an Obie and as the program said ...he has.........a flair for the absurd.

Started on time....two hours 4 minutes and some really fine acting by Valerie Carpenter-Berstein who played a looney but may have been the most sane of all these goofball characters...11 in all and they accomplished the goal for me ....told the story.....not that I liked it....but they told it.

LVLT works so hard to bring us original off the beaten path storylines .....they deserve our support.
