A late afternoon treat for the old dance fan !
Kids is Kids !
Nevada Ballet Theatre outreach program has done two of these concers...the second today at the Las Vegas Academy downtown. Always a big job with 40....7 year olds trying to stay in step.....great theatre...great AC ....great Broadway music....15 short pieces...nice costumes...some choreography intended and some parents making an effort. Some kids better than others....some really interested. This from 15 different Las Vegas elementary schools....lots of school buses and in the middle one masterpiece. 7th grade girls with one professional male lifter...just wonderful...well done ...beautiful young firls with some early acquired fundamentals and they all did it well....NEED TO KNOW....choreograper Shara Bergal.
The damn thing 21 minutes late...lots of kids running around but it was what it was and I liked it !
C 75....lost 21 points for being late...never excusable !
