With this banner naming the show it's about all you need to tell the world....QUALITY MUSIC ! And boy was it.
The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society led by Dr. Douglas R. Peterson for the 41st year did two shows at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre on the College of Southern Nevada Campus. Just lovely.
First half Gershwin....second half Berlin...almost started on time...too long an intermission and snacks afterward....how do you beat this deal ?
The music of these two Hall of Fame composers can carry any music genre and with 49 singers, piano, guitar and nice soft drums thats all we needed. Some soloists did short individual pieces which I really perfer to chorus....but this is a chorus and they were fine....I think, thanks to Dr. Peterson.
Nothing more to say....follow this group they will be back..a full house attended this past weekend and we all loved the show.
