Two miles from our free boarding in Laugana Hills, California lies the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater...similar to the Hollywood Bowl ! Its big...its picnic friendly...lots of parking ...its a BIG BOWL concert facility...first class...I liked it.
On Sunday night the Orchestra and a Van Cliburn silver medalist played Puccini...made my day...mostly a solo...nice backup orchestra.
15 minutes late with pre game pleas for sponsership and thank yous...20 years for the conductor...St. Clair...he is the father of this wonderful orchestra and appears to be on my waiting list of my heroes.
After Puccini and a long intermission hundreds of vocalists appeared to scream in Italian...not for me...even the promise of fireworks could not keep me...they threatened to close the gates ...I left...I will be back !
