A CHOREOGRAPHERS SHOWCASE

BY ED BRUCE edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

This a Nevada Ballet Theatre and Cirque du soleil presentation.

A project designed to stimulate and encourage artistic growth.

Two shows at the Treasure Island Mystere Theatre.

This... one of the great marriages of all time.

A fundraiser for the Nevada Ballet Theatre www.nevadaballet.com send a check to support this cultural treasure.

Now the review !

WORLD CLASS DANCE...MODERN AND BALLET AND A MORE THAN PERFECT MARRIAGE.

This the third year anniversary for this union at the Hall of Fame venue where Mystere runs 10 shows a week. The theatres technical and production staff world class with tons of horns and whistles and lights and sound and fog and smog and ups and downs and hydaulic lift stages and side lighting, spotlighting, back lighting, side lighting, bottom lighting and monstrous production all dressing up to 12 creative works of art by thinking choreographers. The Mystere theatre only perfect for everything and with its big floating stages, it just allows another level for the creative arts, the choreographers must love the venue.

I love dance and the union of music and choreography, here this is second to none in the world...god this was great for the third year in a row and I hope to live another year to see its new child of creativity in April 2011.

The entire project was not new to this patron...but it is perfect costumes and production with a goal.... and its just marvelous timing by the dancers that make a world class event. The Cirque dancers are working Cirque shows on the strip...an illustration of super talent to rehearse new pieces and make them look so good. From my seat this could go every night on the strip at top dollar.

15 minutes late, pardonable for needed ticket buyers for this fundraiser but unpardonable for the reviewers score sheet...still a point off for every minute late.
