I'm Henry the 8th I am I am........
How many times has Peter Noone run over these lyrics in the last 45 years ?
Not enough as far as I am concerned.
Peter and his current band of Hermits (drums, keyboard and 2 guitars) completed three days at the South Pointe Casino Hotel to sold out shows and brought great joy and memories to all...especially me. Gee this is just great stuff....starts right on time... 75 minutes of fun and historic old 60's music played to a great sound system and comfortable theatre to lots of people my age who have seen it all before and hopefully will again. Noone polled the crowd and amazingly maybe a couple hundred had not seen his show before (or at least in this century like he asked). Two ladies in our both were first timers and it always pleases me to see people entertained and having fun....so great to see their reactions to some of this terrific nonesense with them having never seen it before. First can only be once. Also nice to watch my wifes reaction and her joy in seeing this again as well as mine...it truly brought the joyful tears to my eyes to have this music and have Noone bring back the memories of the time to this music. The fact that my wife goes a second time carries a lot of weight because she is pretty much a one timer.
Many fans knew all the songs and the moves and were ready to play along...me too...the backdrop to the stage has that great British flag with Noones name across it...just damn cool !

This genre the success of the Beattles....3 guitars...drums...lyrics...fun !
For me this act second only to the Beattles in the English invasion! Noone who will be 64 in November...married for 43 years (I like that) relishes his own nonesense and performance....he loves to be on stage and I lead the fans who love to watch and listen.
Just great music with lyrics and not too loud....1964-1968...what a treat to hear.
The South Pointe is to complimented for providing such quality entertainment for us white (or no hairs)...the move pays dividends...both my wife and I played, enjoyed and relish a return to this great south Las Vegas strip home away from home.
