A NEW FRESH PLAY AT THE COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN NEVEDA BLACK BOX THEATRE
Interesting contemporary pertinent information about the school budget cutting the arts....exactly what is going on in various and local education systems.
This a musical, married to the local setting...new script...married to current TV show and full of fresh (21) college students. Great songs of the past appear as pleasent surprises adapted to the theme...new songs overpowered by drums so you could not hear the lyrics...the colossal negative in all musicals....too loud ...background bang bang.
It was late...8 minutes...81 peopled enjoyed it....me too.
Great to see student actors working with enthusiasm to learn a craft...wonderful costuming and commitment to the issue.
Las Vegas RJ columnist Anthony del Valle gave it an A...not me...too late...too loud !
I do highly recommend this ...goes another week at CCSN 651 5483...Cheyenne campus North Las Vegas.
