SAXE CELEBRATION

Saxe Theater Celebrating 2 Years at Planet Hollywood Resort’s Miracle Mile Shops

Las Vegas, NV, June 15, 2012: Saxe Theater is celebrating a second successful year offering top-notch entertainment at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The $34 million Saxe Theater opened in 2010 with the launch of VEGAS! The Show, the biggest talent-driven stage production on the Strip in almost 20 years featuring a cast of more than 40 singers, dancers, showgirls and a live “big band” orchestra. VEGAS! The Show tells the story of the most dynamic and exciting entertainers to ever set foot in Las Vegas including The Rat Pack, Louis Prima & Keely Smith, and Elvis.

Saxe Theater is also home to BeatleShow!, the “best Beatles tribute show in the world” and Michael Turco’s Magic & Mayhem, the “hottest entertainment mash-up in the afternoon” starring master illusionist Michael Turco from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and choreography by ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars’” Lacey Schwimmer.

The Saxe Theater showroom was designed so each ticket holder has an exceptional view of the stage from every seat in the house. Architects also installed state-of-the-art lighting, sound, fiber optic video curtains, and other cutting-edge theatrical equipment so the audience won’t miss a beat. The showroom is nestled on the third level of the theater above “The Lounge” which offers two world-class refreshment bars, leather sofa-style seating, and over-sized private booths.

Saxe Theater is conveniently located near the Planet Hollywood Towers inside Miracle Mile Shops. The 22,000 square foot facility features premium stadium seating and can comfortably accommodate 420 people.

Saxe Theater is owned by David Saxe, the most prolific show producer in Las Vegas’ history, who also owns V Theater inside Miracle Mile Shops where 6 other shows take the stage including V The Ultimate Variety Show, Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theater, Hitzville The Show, and Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis.
