Performances for the Las Vegas Community come with a Surprise . . .

Las Vegas, Nevada (February 8-9, 2013)

– The Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater begins their 2013 Season with special performances for the Las Vegas Community. These performances are admission free and open to the general public. Since its inception, LVCDT’s mission has been to deepen the performing arts experience within the Las Vegas Community by way of stellar programming and exciting events in dance. In partnership with the Clark County Library District, LVCDT will present two days of compelling performances for the Community free of charge.

Continuing the American Legacy of Excellence in Dance for our Community!


LVCDT is Las Vegas’ first professional non-profit Contemporary Dance Company, best known for its passionate and relatable repertoire. LVCDT has a dance style that is Classical, Modern and Highly Athletic.

Bernard H. Gaddis and Charmaine Hunter founded the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater in 2007. Gaddis, known internationally as both a gifted performer and innovative choreographer, continues with the company; along with Associate Director Emeritus: Kevin Gibbs and newly appointed Associate Director: Marie-Joe Tabet.

LVCDT continues to be a breath of fresh air to the Las Vegas cultural dance scene. Gaddis’ Company of dancers reflects the diversity of the local community and the world at large - and brings electrifying performances of neo-classical and modern ballets to the stage. LVCDT’S goal is to leave the audience with a sense joy and excitement by what they have experienced.


The program includes ballets from LVCDT’s extensive repertoire.
