NHL Invites Fans to Join the Red Carpet Festivities at Wynn Las Vegas
WHAT: Red carpet arrivals for the 2014 NHL Awards, the National
Hockey League’s celebration of the best of the 2013-14 season
on and off the ice, will begin at 2 p.m. PT on Tuesday, June 24,
just prior to the start of the 2014 NHL Awards at the Encore
Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Anze Kopitar and general manager Dean Lombardi of the Los
Angeles Kings; Ryan Getzlaf and Bob Murray of the Anaheim
Ducks; Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and Tuukka Rask of the

Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks;

Joining the award nominees, presenters and performers on the
red carpet will be nine-year old youth hockey player, Will
Lacey. Bruins players and award finalists Bergeron, Chara and
Rask, in conjunction with the NHL, Beat NB Cancer Foundation,
Enterprise Rent-A-Car and American menswear designer John
Varvatos, will help fulfill Lacey’s wish to attend the 2014 NHL
Awards. The young goalie and Boston native is battling
neuroblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. In addition to
attending the two-hour show, Lacey will walk the red carpet
with his three hometown heroes. Lacey and Rask will make their
red carpet debut in tailored John Varvatos suits, shirts, ties
and shoes they selected together in the designer’s Boston store
location.
