Balanchine Trust répétiteur Sandra Jennings has been working with our NBT dancers on the exquisite upcoming performance of Serenade, as part of A Balanchine Celebration.  Here, Sandra shares her thoughts on Serenade and George Balanchine from a 2010 interview with the Bolshoi Ballet.   Bringing Balanchine to the Bolshoi A Balanchine Celebration begins with Serenade, his first American ballet, followed by the Las Vegas premiere of Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, from the Rodgers & Hart comedy  On Your Toes, saluting Balanchine's triumphs on both stage and silver screen.
