As NASCAR continues to test its new rules package for 2016, LVMS will open its grandstands and Neon Garage for free to all race fans on Thursday, March 3 for an all-day test session. In addition to the test, select drivers will visit the Neon Garage to participate in question and answer sessions with fans later in the day. The test session and the teams’ travel time from Atlanta will mean no hauler parade for 2016, but the speedway plans to bring the parade back in 2017. BUY NOW FanFest to give NASCAR faithful chance to see drivers up close Las Vegas Motor Speedway will kick off NASCAR Champion’s Week on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Fremont Street Experience with a free event featuring the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers, including 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. Beginning at 2 p.m., the drivers will walk a red carpet through the crowd en route to the Third Street Stage. The highlight of FanFest, which is hosted FOX Sports’ Jamie Little, will be a NASCAR Jeopardy-type game show involving the Chase drivers.
