OPENING NIGHT AT THE BULLRING


Las Vegas Motor Speedway-Bullring
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
Opening Night-March 9, 2019

Opening night at the Bullring was a great start for the 2019 season. 
The first races were very smooth, as only one caution flag was needed in
each race for the young drivers.
The evening’s winners were:
USLCI Bandolero Bandits Feature, 12 laps—Winning with the fastest
time was #5 Sabastian Lafia (North Las Vegas, NV), followed by #17 Ashton
Leonard (Henderson, NV) and #72M Max Romzek (Las Vegas, NV).
USLCI Bandolero Outlaws Feature, 12 laps—Taking the checkered flag
was #50 Chloe Lynch (North Las Vegas, NV).  Right behind her was
#98 Brendan Tracy (Las Vegas, NV) and #35G Landon Gresser (Las Vegas,
NV).
Skid Plate Cars Feature, 15 laps—Earning the checkered flag after a tough
race was #17 Dennis Dowell (Las Vegas, NV), followed by #12C Cindy Clark
(Boulder City, NV) and #19 William Good (Las Vegas, NV).

NASCAR Bombers Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 16th time at the Bullring

was #4 Kyle Jacks (Las Vegas, NV).  He was followed by #96 Vinny Raucci, Jr.

(Las Vegas, NV) and finishing 3rd was #1 Adam Simon (Las Vegas, NV).

USLCI Legends Feature, 25 laps—First place went to #9 Jason Irwin

(Albuquerque, NM), followed by #25G Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV)

and #29b Braden Rogers.

NASCAR Super Stocks Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 17th time at the

Bullring was #29 Sam Jacks (Las Vegas, NV).  Coming in 2nd was #21 Matt

Larsen (St. George, UT) followed by #31 Ethan DeGuevara (Las Vegas, NV).

NASCAR 602 Modifieds Feature, 35 laps—Keeping his winning record

going was #4X Doug Hamm (North Las Vegas) followed by #48 Mason

Sargent (Las Vegas, NV) and #14X Brian Reed (Las Vegas, NV).
Southwest Tour Trucks Feature, 35 laps—Earning his first trip to the 
Bullring's Victory Lane was #26 John Newhouse (Twin Falls, ID).  Coming
in 2nd was #21 Jeremiah Wagner followed by #7B Ronnie Davis.
NASCAR Super Late Models Feature, 50 laps—Winning for the 14th time at

the Bullring was #14 Chris Clyne (Las Vegas, NV) followed by #49 Scott

Gafforini (Henderson, NV) and #34 Kayli Barker (North Las Vegas, NV)


The next race at the Bullring will be a tribute to the area’s first responders with

its annual Hometown Heroes Night.  Local first responders and their families

will be admitted free with a valid ID on Saturday, March 30.  All children 12 and

under get in free, if accompanied by a ticketed adult.  Advance tickets and
