Hometown Heroes Night at the Bullring

It was a beautiful evening
at the Bullring as Southern Nevada’s Hometown
Heroes were honored during
the opening ceremonies. First Responders
and their vehicles paraded around
the track, and representatives were in
the flag stand to start each
race.
The evening’s winners were:
NASCAR Super Late Models Feature No. 1, 30 laps—After leading the
entire race, #14 Chris Clyne
(Las Vegas, NV) took the checkered flag,
followed by #49 Scott
Gafforini (Henderson, NV) and #77 Johnny
Spilotro (Las Vegas, NV).
USLCI Bandolero Bandits Feature, 12 laps—Also leading for the entire
race and winning for the
first time at the Bullring was #66 Tuscan Nuccitelli
(Ivins, UT). Close behind was #63 James Starcher and #45 Logan Gresser
(Las Vegas, NV).
USLCI Bandolero Outlaws Feature, 12 laps—Getting his first Bandolero
Outlaws win was #35G Landon
Gresser (Las Vegas, NV).
2nd place went to
#50 Chloe Lynch (North Las Vegas, NV)
followed by #72R Owen Romzek
(Las Vegas, NV).
Jr. Late Models Feature, 30 laps—This exciting race was won by 14-year
old #24 RJ Smotherman (Pahrump, NV)
followed by #07 Jaden Walbridge
and #25 Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV).
Skid Plate
Cars Feature, 15 laps—Adding another
new element to the
skid plate race was running
the track backwards (clockwise). Working
hard
for a win was #3 Scott
Stockwell, followed by #12C Cindy Clark (Boulder
City, NV) and #6 Ben
Williams (Las Vegas, NV).
NASCAR Super Stocks Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 4th time in a row,
with 6 wins in the last 7
races was #29 Sam Jacks (Las Vegas,
NV). Coming in
2nd was #31 Ethan
DeGuevara (Las Vegas, NV) followed by #21 Matt Larsen
(St. George, UT).
USLCI Legends Feature, 25 laps—Leading the entire race and earning his
21st career win
was #10 Peyton Saxton. He was followed by #2X Dylan Fabozzi
(Brea,
CA) and #25G Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV).
NASCAR Bombers Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 14th time at the Bullring
was #96 Vinny Raucci, Jr. (Las Vegas, NV). Finishing 2nd was #21 Michael
Miller (Las
Vegas, NV), followed by # 4 Kyle
Jacks (Las Vegas, NV).
NASCAR 602 Modifieds Feature, 35 laps—Keeping his winning record
going, and winning for the
53rd time at the Bullring was #4X Doug Hamm
(North Las Vegas, NV). Close behind was #14X Brian Reed (Las Vegas, NV)
and #4N Ron Reed (Las Vegas, NV).
NASCAR Super Late Models Feature No. 2, 30 laps—Winning for the 2nd time
in one evening was #14 Chris
Clyne (Las Vegas, NV) followed by #49 Scott
Gafforini (Henderson,
NV) and #32X David Anderson (North Las Vegas, NV).
The next race at the Bullring will be the NASCAR
Whelen All-American Series
on Saturday, April 20th. All four NASCAR classes will be racing, along
with
Late Model Trucks, and Jr. Late Models. All children age 12 and under
will get in free, if accompanied by a ticketed
adult.
