NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Race No. 3

It was a windy evening as the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series

returned to the Bullring, but the races were fast, and fans were treated

to another exciting event.  To start the evening with a special treat, the

National Anthem was sung by the Las Vegas Chapter of the Barbershop

Harmony Society, Silver Statesmen Barbershop Chorus.  Check out

The next race at the Bullring will be on Saturday, April 27 with the

annual Military and Veterans Appreciation Night.   All active duty military

personnel and veterans with valid IDs will be given free admission.

As usual, all children age 12 and under will get in free, if accompanied

by a ticketed adult.

Winners on April 20th were:

USLCI Bandolero Bandits Feature, 12 laps—Ten year old, #57 Hank Hall

(Bakersfield, CA) stayed ahead of #5 Sabastian Lafia (North Las Vegas,

NV) and #23 Jeffrey Erickson to win the evening’s first race.

USLCI Bandolero Outlaws Feature, 12 laps—Getting her third win in this

event was #50 Chloe Lynch (North Las Vegas, NV), followed by #35G

Landon Gresser (Las Vegas, NV), and #98 Brendan Tracy (Las Vegas, NV).

NASCAR Bombers Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 2nd time this season

and 17th time overall was #4 Kyle Jacks (Las Vegas, NV).  Finishing in 2nd

place was #96 Vinny Raucci, Jr. (Las Vegas, NV), followed by #00 Anthony

Mann (Las Vegas, NV).

Jr. Late Models Feature, 30 laps—This exciting race was won by 14-year

old #07 Jaden Walbridge (Portland, OR) who was .659 seconds faster than

#24 R.J. Smotherman (Pahrump, NV) followed by #4C Braden Connor

(Pahrump, NV).

NASCAR Super Stocks Feature, 25 laps—Winning for the 5th time in a row,

with 7 wins in the last 8 races was #29 Sam Jacks (Las Vegas, NV).  Coming in

2nd was #21 Camden Larsen (St. George, UT) followed by #31 Ethan

DeGuevara (Las Vegas, NV).

USLCI Legends Feature, 25 laps—20 cars started this feature with 45 time

Bullring winner, #9 Jason Irwin (Albuquerque, NM) taking the checkered

flag.  Finishing 2nd was #25G Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV) with 3rd place

going to #23C Jonathan Mawhinney (Las Vegas, NV).

Late Model Truck Series Feature, 35 laps—Earning his first win at the

Bullring, #03 Lee Keach (Las Vegas, NV) held off #65 Matt Daly (Minot, ND)

and #7P Andrew Porter (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).

NASCAR 602 Modifieds Feature, 35 laps—Picking up his first win in this

division was #49 Jason Kiser (Las Vegas, NV) with #1 Pat Petrie (Henderson,

NV) close behind.  Coming in 3rd was #51 Zachery Nicholls (Las Vegas, NV).

NASCAR Super Late Models Feature, 50 laps—Keeping his streak going,

#14 Chris Clyne (Las Vegas, NV) took the checkered flag, followed by Jim

Wulfenstein and #5 David Anderson (North Las Vegas, NV).
