It was Championship Night at the LVMS
Bullring track on September 21. And
what an exciting night of racing it was!
Even though three drivers had clinched
track titles a week earlier, there was still
lots of competition on Saturday night.
The 2019 Bullring Awards Banquet will be
held at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling
Hall on Saturday, October 5. The evening
will honor The Bullring’s Champions and
top performers. Tickets will not be sold
at the door, so get them by calling the
LVMS Ticket Office at 702 632-8059.
The next race at the Bullring will be on
Saturday, October 12, 2019, the Fall
Classic. The evening will feature
NASCAR Super Late Models, Super
Stocks, Late Models, 602 Modifieds,
and USLCI Bandoleros. The highlight
of the evening will be the $10,000-to-win
Open Comp SLM Race.
As usual, children age 12 and under will
get in free, if accompanied by a ticketed
adult.

Winners and 2019 Champions on September
21st were:
USLCI Bandolero Outlaws Feature, 12 laps—
On the first lap, at turn 1, #50 Chloe Lynch
(North Las Vegas, NV) crashed and was out of
the race. Nevertheless, she still won the 2019
Outlaw Championship. Winning for the 16th
time in his career, #35G Landon Gresser (Las
Vegas, NV) held off 98T Brendan Tracy (Las
Vegas, NV) and #12 Skyler Meisenbach (Norco,
CA). During his post-race interview, Gresser
expressed concern for the health of the crashed
drivers, and mentioned his plan to race in the
Legends car series in 2020. Gresser placed 2nd
in the 2019 Championship points race.
USLCI Bandolero Bandits Feature, 12 laps—
12 cars started the race with #57 Hank Hall
(Bakersfield, CA) continuing his winning ways
with his 6th win of the year. He was followed
by #12 Gage Jarvis (Phoenix, AZ) and #66
Tuscan Nuccitelli (Ivins, UT). #17 Ashton
Leonard (Henderson, NV) finished in 6th place,
but had enough points to win the 2019
Championship.
NASCAR Bombers Feature, 30 laps—
This race produced a lot of excitement as
Vinny Raucci, Jr. was black-flagged on lap 3
after causing a wreck by running #44 Jacob
Quartaro into the turn 3 wall. #4 Kyle Jacks
also left the race early. At lap 19, the leader,
#00 Anthony Mann went into the pits. From
that point on, #1 Adam Simon (Las Vegas, NV)
took over and finished in first place. He was
followed by #22 Michael Miller (Las Vegas, NV)
and #51 Steve Durbin (North Las Vegas, NV).
Raucci had enough points to win the 2019
Championship for the second time in a row.
Southwest Tour Truck Series Feature, 35 laps—
7 trucks started the race with the #2 truck, Katie
Schlarbaum (Wickenburg, AZ) leaving with an oil
leak on lap 20. Truck #78 Ronnie Davis (Whittier,
CA) passed #21 Ron Nava (Vista, CA) on the final
lap to take the win. Coming in 3rd was #97 Gary
Howard (Las Vegas, NV).
NASCAR 602 Modifieds Feature, 35 laps—
On the first turn, first lap, Vinnie Raucci, Jr. hit the
wall and was out for the night. Earning his 58th win
and 6th career Championship, #4X Doug Hamm
(North Las Vegas, NV) held off #84 Eddie Secord
and #14X Brian Reed (Las Vegas, NV).
NASCAR Super Stocks Feature, 25 laps—
#29 Sam Jacks (Las Vegas, NV) finished the
season with a win and the Championship. It was
his 8th victory of 2019. Following him in the race
was #21 Camden Larsen (St. George, UT) and
#60 Billy Paddack (Las Vegas, NV).
Skid Plate Cars Feature, 12 laps--#17 Dennis
Dowell finished in 3rd place for the race, but won
the 2019 Championship (his first) by two points
over #12 Cindy Clark. Clark finished the race
in 2nd place behind the winner #6 Ben Williams.
USLCI Legends Feature, 25 laps—Collecting
his 18th career win at the Bullring, #54 Cameron
Morga held off #23M Jonathan Mawhinney (Las
Vegas, NV) and #25G Jaron Giannini (Henderson,
NV). Last week Jaron Giannini clinched his 2nd
consecutive season championship title.
NASCAR Super Late Models Feature, 50 laps—
Finishing first for the first time this year, #6 Tyler
Fabozzi (Brea, CA) held off #43 Tanner Reif and
Brandon Farrington. #14 Chris Clyne (Las Vegas,
NV) took the 2019 Championship trophy.
