2014 – 2015 Season UNLV Chamber Music Series Announcing our 2014  – 2015 season!   Join us for our third season as we bring world class chamber music to Southern Nevada.   Opening Concert: Oleh Krysa, violin Wednesday, September 17, 2014 7:30pm Join us for the opening of the 2014 - 2015 season with Oleh Krysa, violin, Mykola Suk and Timothy Hoft, piano, Bill Bernatis, horn, Taras Krysa, violin, Jason Bonham, viola, and Andrew Smith, cello, in a concert of Beethoven, Brahms, and Schumann. American String Quartet Thursday, October 23, 2014 7:30pm Internationally recognized as one of the world’s foremost quartets, the American String Quartet celebrates its 39th season in 2014–2015 and will perform with the UNLV CMS Artistic Director, flutist Jennifer Grim, in a program of Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Brahms 20th Century Masterworks with members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic Tuesday, January 27, 2015 7:30pm Join the principal winds of the Las Vegas Philharmonic in a concert featuring masterworks of the wind literature. Featuring Stephen Caplan, oboe, Alexander Viazovtsev, flute, Voltaire Verzosa, piano, Janis McKay and Eric Fassbender, bassoon, Bill Bernatis, horn, and Jason Bonham, viola. Horszowski Trio Tuesday, February 24, 2015 7:30pm Hailed by The New Yorker as “destined for great things,” the Horszowski Trio will make their Las Vegas debut at the UNLV Chamber Music Series.   General admission: $25 (plus $1.50 facilities fee) Season tickets to all four concerts: $85 (save 15%) Student rush tickets: $10 (available one prior to performance)   Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall   Tickets Tickets to all concerts are $25 and can be purchased in-person, on the phone or online through the Performing Arts Center Box Office, 895-ARTS (2787). Student rush tickets are $10 each (not inclusive of the facilities fee), and available one hour prior to each event, based on availability and with valid student I.D. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available. A $1.50 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket price, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
