BULLRING FINALE

Las Vegas Motor Speedway-Bullring

The West Coast Short Track Champion-

ships were run at the LVMS Bullring track

on November 23.  The evening included

Jr. Late Models, SPEARS Modifieds, Late

Model Trucks, and SPEARS Southwest

Tour Series races.  The races were the final

ones for 2019 season at the Bullring.

Jr. Late Models Feature, Segment 1,

20 laps—Winning the first segment was

#07 Jadan Walbridge (Portland, OR).  He

was followed by #22 Bradley Erickson

(Phoenix, AZ) and #7 Tyler Reif

(Henderson, NV). 

SPEARS Modifieds Feature, 75 laps—

29 cars started this race.  The race saw

many yellow flags in the 4^th turn

throughout the evening.   At lap 50

only 15 cars remained.  After leading the

entire race,#75 Jeremy Doss (Upper Lake,

CA) took the checkered flag.  He was

followed by #9P Ryan Partridge

(Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and

#84 Eddie Secord (Hesperia, CA).

Jr. Late Models Feature, Segment 2,

20 laps—Continuing his winning ways,

and leading the entire race, #07 Jadan

Walbridge (Portland, OR) took the

checkered flag, followed by #7 Tyler

Reif (Henderson, NV) and #22 Bradley

Erickson (Phoenix, AZ).

Late Model Truck Series Feature, 35 laps—

14 trucks started the race with #4 Ricky

Bogart (Phoenix, AZ) coming up from the

back of the pack to take the win.  Taking

second place was #7P Andrew Porter (Rancho

Cucamonga, CA) with third place going to

#03 Lee Kelach.

SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Feature,

150 laps (refueling break at 75 laps)—

28 cars started the race. At the half way

point the leader was #27 John Moore

(Granite Bay, CA) followed by #6F Tyler

Fabozzi (Anaheim Hills, CA) and #2 Craig

Raudman (Cottonwood, CA). #27 John

Moore left the track at lap 115 leaving #43T

Derek Thorn (Bakersfield, CA) to win the

$10,000 SPEARS check.  He was closely

followed by 6F Tyler Fabozzi (Anaheim

Hills, CA) and #99 Linny White (Colton,

CA).

NASCAR races in Las Vegas during 2020

have been scheduled for February 21-23

and September 25-27.
