BIG CROWD.....MORE TO COME IN SEPTEMBER

LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY-BULLRING

On Saturday, July 3, 2021 the annual NIGHT OF FIRE

started out HOT and WINDY.  A large crowd enjoyed

an exciting evening of racing, followed by a

fantastic fireworks display which lit up the sky.

 

Celebrating in the winners’ circle were--

USCLI Bandolero Bandits Feature-15 laps:

Winner--#17-Ashton Leonard (Henderson, NV)

closely followed by #18-Keller Meechudhone,

and taking 3rd was #37-Caden Cordova.

Super Stocks Feature-20 laps:

Winner--#4x-Court Connell with 2nd going to

#42-Eric Martin and 3^rd to #64-Mike McKearn

Full Send Cleaning Service Skid Plate Feature-

15 laps:

Racer X had fire breathing from its rear, creating

lots of entertainment, but it didn't result in a top

place finish in the skid car race on the Night of

Fire.

The winner was #6-Ben Williams followed by

#17-Dennis Dowell and #24-R.J. Smotherman.

Southwest Electric Feature-25 laps:

15 cars started to race for the $1000 check, but

it was #11-Dustin Ash who finished first for the

5th time in 2021.  Close behind was #25B-Jaron

Giannini and #12J-Jordon Holloway.

NASCAR Nostalgia Street Rods Bombers Feature-

25 laps:

13 cars started with #96-Pete Meyer taking the lead

on the final laps over #4-Court Connell and

#44-Jacob Quartaro (Las Vegas, NV).

Late Model Truck Series Feature-35 laps:

Leading for the first 31 laps, but on a restart

#20- dropped to 3rd.  Finishing first was local

driver #65-Gary Wyatt and ending up in second

place was #20-Stan Mullis and 3^rd went to

Brandon Schilling.

NASCAR Sigma Performance Services Pro Late

Models Feature-40 laps:

Starting on the pole, leading the entire race, and

besting 15 racers, was #43-Tanner Reif

(Henderson, NV).  Coming in right behind him

was #22-Bradley Erickson (Phoenix, AZ), while

finishing 3rd was 38P-Jeffrey Peterson (Grand

Terrace, CA).

NASCAR 602 Power Grade Inc. Modifieds Feature-

40 laps:

Winner--Leading for the entire race, #41-Kyle

Jacks (Las Vegas, NV) was chased by #4X-Doug

Hamm, (North Las Vegas, NV) and #17M-Jonathan

Mawhinney.

 

The next Bullring race is Saturday, September 4,

2021, BACK TO SCHOOL/THROWBACK NIGHT,

with the regular Bullring classes in action.  The

gates will open at 5PM with races starting at 7PM. 

As usual, children under 12 will be admitted free

with a ticketed adult.
