THE HARP

What a deal this could have been for 92 minutes that started on time.

I say could have been because of the unsettled familes nursing children during this event. What are the qualifications for parenthood, you don't have to get a license, you don't have to go to school, you don't have to have any brains you just have to be fertile. And furthmore why do these assholes have to sit (or not sit) near me? They took this one to a new level to include running in and out, slamming doors, talking, slamming chairs, unwraping candy and all generally oblivious to the world let alone the talent of the show on stage, I hope the harp player did not interfer with this track met, there was less running at the Drake Relays. Finally on this subject of assholes, they did take it to a new level, you had to see this to believe it. One parent and child are going out, they leave their row and hit the isle but rather than take the isle to the exit they retreat a row and crawl over eyeyone in the row behind them to get out and repeat the process on the way back and if that was not bad enough another parent and child repeated the same itinerary, Jesus get these people out of the gene pool.

Oh by the way there was a show at the Winchester Center in Las Vegas, I apologize to Harpist Mariano for this side show and my inability to give his show the attention it deserved.

Boy this was awful! Anyway Mariano came to Las Vegas with his 3 mini harps and a great skill to play some lovely ballads. He did, talking a bit too much with his broken English that he said he learned in Japan. The sound here was lovely (what of it I could hear) and only wish he could have come to my house played for me. Probably 98 A+ for him but the entire ambiance took this score to 63 D-. Somewhere the buck has to stop, and on stage performers can and have required audience attention, some houses can and have required audience behavior and some patrons can leave and raise hell with the management and do.
