Every third Friday at the Federal building at noon, free lunch and a free show, you must find a parking sport and go thru federal security, I can live with it.
This one, soft jazz, terrible audio in this cavern, lunch was great. Percussion, 2 guitars and a bass, then unfortunately an inaudible vocal overpowered by the background music and bad audio, couldn't understand a word.
Started 2 minutes late, next month folk music, I will be back, 80 B-.
Sunday after noon I motored out to the community college two theatres for two shows, neither worth a shit.
Miss Julie a play written in 1888 with a love triangle, hierachy and lots of goofy dialogue melded in with some unneeded dance, I didn't get it!
Forgot my glasses in the car, just as well, crowd of 25 in their small theatre like me wondering whey we went? 69 D+ they built a nice balcony set ?
In the schools big theatre at 4 pm a Judy Garland impersonater, strange.
33 people for this, I hoped the music would be decent and it was her songbook with canned background music into a horrendous sound system, I left. 10 minutes late, an opening video with some historic info was all I got out of this. Poorly promoted in a awful sound stage. 50 F Sorry I went

Speaking of Judy Garland, this week over at The Judy Garland Experience they are featuring Judy's complete concert from August 23, 1967. The very same concert where Miss Joan Crawford pulled herself up onto the stage to bask in some of Judy's audience love. They are also featuring the episode of Good News where Joan tries to sing with Judy! And if that isn't enough Joan Crawford there are also highlights from her 1973 appearance at Town Hall.
Wait, that's not all. Along with other Judy audio tidbits there is also a rare concert from Lee Wiley, and ultra rare tracks from the long forgotten voacalist Beverly Kenney.
