Never a shortage of things to do in Las Vegas

Twice a year the Nevada Garden club has a flower show ! Wake up and smell the roses ! Actually didn't see any roses today but everything else, ....they started on time, it was free, who doesn't like flowers? They actually have specialty shows during the year for roses, chrysanthemums, carnations, bonsai and lots of other great stuff. Hard to believe the old sportscaster has progressed to flower shows on October Sunday mornings instead of the NFL, who cares about these union strikers and dog fighters, I am now into lilacs and orchids ! If you are in Las Vegas, 702 454 1941, smell the roses !

After this I went to Lonnie Hammigran's (houses, castles, museums) for his annual open house.
Hard to explain this one but.....the retired neuro surgeon and x lieutenant governor has collected damn near everything on earth into his 3 attached homes. This is something to see, truly undefineable artifacts from not only Las Vegas but from the world. This is the prototype example of over clutter. Truly 1000's of people committing gridlock, put nice gridlock, thanks doc.

Finished Sunday with, You Can't Take That Away From Me ! Perfoming Arts Society of Nevada Brown Bag Concert at the Flamingo Library Theatre. Music from Ira Gershwin, how could you go wrong here, 1 piano, 9 singers (some too loud) lovely classic lyrics well sung, started on time and blackened only by one woman who decided this was the place to roll in her baby carriage. 89 not as good as they thought, but good nonetheless B+. I just closed my eyes and listented to the words.

Busy week ahead, two hockey games, 1 press conference for boxing, one boxing match and a very anticipated dog show. Back at you soon.
