Back to Clark County Community College of Southern Nevada for the Symphony, college students, short program (88 minutes) 31 strings, thats an orchestra.
So many symphonys to be heard so little time. Young conductor Christopher Davis is charge, this job similar to laying out the blueprints for an aircraft carrier.....so many parts, so many ieces so much music, practice and abilities. Started on time, unfortunately they had one ticket seller for 50 late arrivals at kickoff and thusly allowing late arrivals to include baby carriages and Aunt Jemima's really large stinking grand daughter and Jimmie Walker from happy days, they wished to carry on a conversation next to me! How do these assholes know where I am and how do they constantly find me?
Nice show I enjoyed the music, Davis did some play by play to include the story that Arcangelo Corelli composed the first piece Christmas Concerto on a commission from the Pope in 1690. What a treat to know this and hear this.
