Negatives....the usual...too late...too loud...too dark....pretty offensive that 1000 people can be on time and Danny Gans is 8 minutes late....it was too dark...and it is always too loud.
Danny Gans has a few free tickets daily on the free tix web site...this is great thing for locals and a nice theme for Gans.
Gans goes 4 nights a week at his Mirage Theatre in Las Vegas...somewhat after 8 oclock....8 piece band...two sets of drums are at least one too many...100 bucks a pop $100,000 a show.... this is a pretty good gig. HE IS GOOD ! ! !
Gans very talented, great voice, excellent comedy, decent impressions (some better than others) and top production, good value for your buck and a top Las Vegas show, highly recommended. I wanted to compare Gans to Gordie Brown who I really love but that idea is just not fair...both are outstanding. One thing for Gans is that he is too current for me, he does lots of folks I never heard of or want to hear of...Michael Jackson. He did a great shtick on Johnny Carson, also George Burns, Dean Martin, Nat Cole, Elvis and Jimmy Stewart, THEY fit into my lifeline !
Hard worker, well prepared, fabulous concentration on his signature 12 days of Christmas and a genuine nice guy...you got to like him. 93 A for the three standard negatives.
