Top line entertainment (350,ooo weekend), top line management (worlds best) top line fans (they prove it) and the best organitzation in the world.

IT IS A CAR RACE !

Fine...this is first class entertainment with the worlds top management. If NASCAR was running the world, the world would be in much better shape than it is now....they do the right fair thing in a timely manner for the greater good of all.

NASCAR management supervises the tracks, the 40 races run each year, the publicity, the media, the car inspections, the continuity and does it all again in a timely efficient fair manner for the greater good of all.

The entertainemnt itself, without the race is world class, media credential people are the worlds best, traffic for 100,000 cars is as well organized as possible with only two ins and outs, pulling into the infield tunnel is one of the great thrills of my life, anticipating whats to come with the opportunity to meet and interview everyone. The LAS VEGAS track, a desert a decade ago, is the top stop on the tour (they are hoping for a second race), the media center, track and pits have already been rebuilt (second generation) ...an escaltor under the track leads you to the stands and suites...pregame pagentry is only spectacular with driver introductions, entertainement (BLUEMAN GROUP) and then the Thunderbirds flyover to puncutate the National Anthem (Thunderbird home airstrip across the street, one mile from the track).
I go to any event just to see a flyover !

In todays turbulient world, personal comfort and safety are a nonstop issue....here I felt comfortable, interacting with fans and staff who are only interested in doing their job and having a good time. I met no assholes at the Las Vegas Speedway and enjoyed my ability to meld into the atmosphere and meet new people who had similar interests as mine.

Gentlemen start your engines, drop the green flag, run the race.

Carl Edwards was the winner (sort of).... Carl is like all the other drivers and all the people in the world...trying to get an edge on the game. Carl had issues with the after the post race NASCAR inspection team and his car was confiscated, trailored to Charlotte and awaits a ruling. NASCAR POLICE FORCE IN ACTION.

What an A+ event 100...... best enteratinment in the world.
