This the spring concert by the CSN fine arts department at the Nicholas J.Horn Theatre, a nice venue at the North Las Vegas campus.
Negatives first....3 minutes late...a virtual track meet and children allowed ! Now from me and my personal theme "so many symphonys to be heard so little time" all of this scrathces the plan.
Children should never be allowed anywhere but school and home, especially those in carriages, next the 57 minute event was distracted by patrons (mostly students I am sure) coming and going non stop, in and out, up and down, over and around, back and forth, in and out, up and down, over and around, back and forth, and on and on and on over and over. For someone who came for the music this endless distraction continues to be very troublesome and they had to pay to do this, screw them. There were dozens on the track team. Lots of these students were dressed worse than me which is a load. There continues to me an endless track phone game going on wherever I go...no different here ...can't you put the son of a bitch away for 57 minutes ?
Evidentally they just traffic thru to piss me off.....maybe not...... that would require thinking !
WHAT A LOVELY CONCERT !
Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart to kick off the show, nine strings no conductor as Mozart wrote it....thank you... could not be better, one of the string players even wore a tie...first class.
7 short pieces, the final L'Ltaliana in Algeri by Gioachino Rossini among my all time favorites...so many symphonyes to be heard so little time. Conductor Christopher Davis a talented young leader for this college student group gave me a first class show despite the distractions.
Thanks again 95 A
