What do you think it costs to have five kids in Juilliard at the same time ?

It is paying off...believe me.....not that something special was abound at birth.

Two boys, three girls (six and a half years apart-all in their 20's) in concert at UNLV's Ham Hall Las Vegas kicking off the Vanda Masters series with great flare !

I am not a big fan of the piano.........so they helped me. I loved the introduction of the pieces and we got a perfect intro to each piece as the group played singles, duets, trios and cincos. I am all for learning and got lots of it this night....they did 14 pieces .....about 8 minutes a pop.....and the beauty of this is it goes away in a hurry if you don't like it.....of course if you do it still goes away to quick......but the concert provided a great variety of classical piano with education. Tremendously impressive to hear these young people tell about the music as well as play.

It was a hell of scene to see five Steinways married in the center of the concert hall....Ham...still the best acoustics in the world and it was no different Tuesday, I was in the last row and the sound was perfect....nice full back stage mood visuals to help.

Lots of folks missed this and they were the losers.....Monday night probably not ideal for this or any concert but for 400 of us it was ideal.

8 Minutes late thusly there goes your perfect score....21 minute intermission....10 minute talk with the group (one guy actually asked a great question....HOW do you find someone to score for five pianos ?............one idiot asked how they got together.....huh.....we had the same mother Melody said......Gregory grabbed the mike and said we had the same father too....they had not been asked that question before they said....only in Vegas ) .....47 minutes music in the first half...41 minutes in the second half....almost too short......here would be the perfect spot to fill the 29 minutes of dead time (more music) in only 3 or 4 pieces did the entire group play at the same time.....they could have filled this with more great stuff !

There may be hope for the younger generation after all.......how totally refreshing and hopeful this concert made me feel.......actually the objective of the game....SUCCESS !

These Vanda series shows come and go in a hurry like this masterpiece....if you call 702 895 2787 their all american staff with help you with the schedule and you thusly not miss this kind of entertainment !
