THRILLER

by Ed Bruce edbrucevegas@yahoo.com

This supposed to be a trip to Tuachan Theatre in St George, Utah and was...... and turned into one of the great multi entertainment days in my life.

Janet came along, always an extrea treat.

The Odyssey Dance company from Salt Lake City traversed down to this terrific venue with another great creative dance performance. Last year they did Let It Be....33 pieces to the Beatles music....this time 31 pieces to a Halloween scare them. Not enough..... dance Janet said...maybe true....I can not get enough dance and some of this was videos and play acting....not awful, just not dance. Anyway this is, if not world class dance then the next step below it. It is very very good, very athletic, eneregtic choregraphy with twists to include a headless horseman on a real horse. You can do lots of wonderful creativity on this big stage ! Like everything its all to taste and some of this like dropping a Nutcracker ballerina with a gun shot was extremely clever ! I lovedFrankenstein and Frankenstein with Troy McGee and Dayna O'Connell, I loved DEM BONES with dark skeletons.....I loved the Jason Jam altho it was too long. Lots to love here and the Tuachan venue is to be saluted in producing world class entertainment 115 miles from Las Vegas.

This was 7 minutes late and had a 22 minute intermission....lots of dead time.. 91 A-.

Here is the day !

An 800 phone number produced the Corando Motel.....suite....bed, pool, jaccuzi, two tvs, frig, microwave, ironing board, two beds and hot water for $24. 1000 A+

We went to the World Wildlife museum, one of the great experiences of a lifetime....hundreds of animals from all over the world, stuffed perfectly.......storeline in a perfect, follow the trail venue, with audio sets....this in St George, first exit, no rap music but a wonderful storm....I am going back..100 A+

Football...... Western Washington 20 Dixie 14 on a gorgeous day, perfect venue, nobody in St George cares, crowd of 300 for college football, nice game and I got to see a potential pro player in Travis McGee who caught 16 passes. Even here, loud rap music. Late, 97 A+....media credentials for this a test ?

Drove to Las Vegas 115 miles, 90 minutes watched the ballet on video during the trip...100 A+

Picked up my media credential for the National Finals Bulling riding at the Thomas and Mack....no hassle !

Football TCU 42 Unlv 14.....TCU maybe one of the top teams in the country Unlv is not....nice venue....nobody goes...maybe 8000....loud rap music...UNLV not interested in media credentials for me. 64 D

PBR.....what a big professional production this is, 15,000....I arrived at halftime....bulls 8 cowboys 3....saw the top guy in the world ride the 8 seconds for 92.....saw 8 guys knocked on their ass and one broke his ankle.....loud rap music.

100 A+

What did you do today ?
