I HAVE NOW SEEN A GREEK TRAGEDY !
THIS 99 MINUTE EFFORT ON TIME AT THE COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN NEVADA...PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AND INSURGO THEATER MOVEMENT !
Euripides wrote this crap 500 BC....the play first produced in 431 BC...its got some age.
I didn't like it because I could not understand it....but I am glad I went !
It has another weekend 652 5483 !
Positives...started on time...good AC....great set and costumes....well acted and produced...they played in a big water basin for unknown reasons....great poses and statuesque lines from the the Corinthian Women (muses) !
Negatives....violent themes...overlapping dialogue...CHILD murder....hard to understand some of the lines !
