BULLRING

BY JOHN MASTALIR jmastalir@yahoo.com

I have been to some car races....

1959 quarter mile dirt track Niobrara Nebraska

1975 quarter mile dirt track Kirksville Missouri

1976 half mile dirt track Eldon Iowa

1977 Indy 500

1999 Daytona

2000 Las Vegas Motor Speedway

2009 Bullring Las Vegas (outside the above)

All had their charm but the Bullring on July 2 probably the most professionally administrated of the lot. No screwing around...lets get the cars out and run...lets clean up the spilled oil and run...lets clear the wrecks and run...lets kill the down time. THEY DID !

Great entertainment here with fireworks, special attractions and lots of different size cars racing like hell. It continues to impress me... from NASCAR to this track.... that the drivers in their post race interviews on the track act like real gracious human beings... thanking everyone and their sponsers for their support. Where does that leave MLB, NBA, NFL and NFL....(all dorks).

I had a great time here with $1 hotdogs, meeting new friends (lots of rednecks like me and lots of familes--I fit right in) and enjoying the ambience of this super venue.

Started on time and went on forever.....A+ 100
