Something new....not bad ! Three show run at the Suncoast showroom...$22....great arena...staff always great !
Pluses and minuses ! On time....decent music headlined by a semi young piano player with flair and horns and whistles....two lovely showgirls. They used a rolling curtain on wheels to seguey segements and change the color decorations on the piano...it was awful. Too much ass kissing and thank yous....family and friends were here for his first big Las Vegas gig.....so what ! Drop the puck !
Poorly written floormat.....a George Burns impersonator was horrible...scratch him...4 pieces plus headliner...two horns....nice bass and ever present too loud drummer. I would rather hear Gershwins piano notes than the drummer in Rhapsody in Blue....of course I would rather hear anything than the drums...this on the cusp of another kill the drummer sound abortion...not quite. Real sound in this theatre was good. The music and singing was fine for a room full of old farts and it played pretty well !
I sort of liked this and it has potential to be much better using my suggestions ....Lionardo has talent and I really enjoyed the family video over his personal compostition !
