I LOVE THE DANCE !

Recently a UNLV Department of Dance program...five pieces...late like everything else...but full of creativity, costume, music and something new.

These programs tend to run Friday, Saturday, Saturday !

More recently... Artichoke Dance Company from New York City...known for its humorous theatrical athleticism, intricate partnering and confronting contemporary social issues. That from their program and exactly what it was. First piece dealing with pressing ecological issues...super creativity, well danced, I didn't care for it but give them big kudos for the effort.

After intermission it got better thanks to background music from the worlds two greatest composers.... Tchaikovsky and McCartney. Commuter Connection: A Rush Hour Romance just nonsense and fun but beautifully put together and perfectly danced...good fun. Finale.... some pairs, some trios...some other... with the Artichoke Dance Company showing off their creativity and strengths....excellent.

I love the dance.
