This the fourth offering of the four week season and I am sorry I missed the first three but elated that I got see this one.
A musical by Clarke Peters featuring Louis Jordan's Greates Hits originally produced by the Theatre Royal Stratford East....salute...good scripts nice creative new songs.
Director Steve Huntsman selected six perfect actors who worked their ass off and delivered all the lines and songs and dance in perfect fashion.
This was really a bunch of nonsense wound together by great directing, blocking and talent in a perfectly enjoyable evening under the stars.
I am reading the bios on these actors now and I loved them all..

On opening night it looked like all six were anxious to get out of the chute and get it on and they sure did....and I thank them for a wonderful fresh presentation.
Three gals filled roles along with 7 pieces of live music anchored by the bass.
A tap dancing babe in a beautiful orange dress did not the senario at all !
GOSH THIS WAS FUN
Maybe a little bit loud and too much audience participation but me thinks it was part of the script...nice 90 minutes that started on time. I think there was a story line to this but I didn't care.
