BY JOHN MASTALIR  jmastalir@yahoo.com

A good-sized crowd of car racing fans witnessed an exciting
evening of racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Bullring on
April 14.  Winners of the Feature Races were:
Camden Larson (St. George, UT) won the USLCI Bandolero
Outlaws Feature-12 lap race.
Ed Hohman (Henderson, NV) won the USLCI Thunder Cars
Feature-15 lap race.
Landon Gresser (Henderson, NV) won the USLCI Bandolero
Bandits Feature-12 lap race.
Sam Jacks (Las Vegas, NV) won the NASCAR Super Stocks
Feature-25 lap race.
Tanner Reif (Las Vegas, NV) won the Jr. Late Models Feature-40
lap race.  Twelve year old Tanner was able to win the checkered
flag, besting Kyle Keller (Las Vegas, NV) in a spectacular crash
right before the finish line.  Keller had led the entire race before the
crash.  No one was injured.
Doug Hamm (North Las Vegas, NV) won the NASCAR Modifieds
Feature-35 lap race.  This was Hamm's 48th career win at the Bullring.
Tyler Fabozzi (Brea, CA) won the NASCAR Super Late Models
Feature-50 lap race.
Isaac Harder (Crossfield, Alberta CA) won the North American
Big Rig Racing Feature-40 lap race.  All 8 rigs were from Canada,
opening their 2018 season in Las Vegas after snow forced their
Canadian tracks to cancel the season opener.  On lap 17, Lonnie
Grzech (Eckville, Alberta, CA) ran into the wall in turn 4, causing a
fire to break out in the front right side of the rig.  Emergency personnel
extinguished the fire, Grzech was unharmed, but the rig had to be
towed from the track.
Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV) won the USLCI Legends Feature-25
lap race.
Vinnie Raucci, Jr. (Las Vegas, NV) won the NASCAR Bombers
Feature-25 lap race
